Samsung has which had released nothing but galaxys have now regained their senses and returned to a normal production. Along with Focus,captivate and many such “non-galaxy” mobiles, Samsung has also released the next iteration of its famous Wave. The Samsung S8600 Wave 3 is now hitting the shelves around the world. The smartphone, which was announced at the end of August is making its market debut just in time for the holiday shopping spree.

The Samsung S8600 Wave 3 is built around a 4″ Super AMOLED of WVGA resolution and runs Bada OS 2.0 on a 1.4GHz Scorpion processor. A 5-megapixels auto-focus camera with LED flash and 720p video recording @30fps should cater for your photography needs, while a VGA front-facing snapper enables video-chatting.Here is a sneak peak at the features the Samsung Wave 3 has in store for you

The Samsung S8600 Wave 3 has both the looks and and equally attractive spec list – not a bad strategy. But as good as the Samsung Wave 3 looks, it does lose points on being all-plastic.Unlike the other phones from Samsung, the Wave 3 has an exquisite all metal finish. Kudos.The Wave 3 has solid multitasking chops and the Bada app store has been building up content.Samsung has basically been trying to attract its customers into Bada using the Wave series and the Wave 3 is no exception.So, can the Samsung S8600 Wave 3 pull you away from the clutches of Android? Now that the Wave is equipped with Bada v2.0 can it really replace Android?
