There is lot left to be desired in the latest release of iCloud from the news heard about its features and this constant search for newer apps and smarter usage pave wave for scintillating technologies that never fail to awe us time and again. Some of the features of the iCloud which needed to be modified or which are missing from the service are listed below.
1. Data protection plays a very important role as you may need to store all your important files, passwords, data’s etc in your faithful device but with the introduction of this cloud service which you never can resist will lead to your security being thrown in to air and this in turn is a huge drawback of this service. Hence, in future a high security gateway should be established where the users should be able to swap data between their devices fearlessly.
2. Although the present service allows the users to access all the music available in the cloud still you cannot access all the music in the world instantly. For that you again have to go through the laborious process of having to buy it then swap it; this has to be rectified and the entire music world should be made available to the ardent fans of the Apple at cheaper rates and through faster accessing systems, which may need quiet a lot of work to be done.
3. Movie streaming and TV streaming are not available in the latest release of iCloud and this seems absurd to the Apple users. This option is compulsory and an integral part which has been missed; so both these services should be added to make the entertainment effective and wholesome.
4. Even though swapping is automatic and so simple among the Apple devices, still swapping them among other OS like MAC is still a distant dream. If this is made possible then a whole new synchronisation and revolution in the iPod industry will start.
5. Storage is yet another feature expected in the future services. At present or in the near future release, the available iCloud storage is about 5GB which is mediocre and when it comes to voluminous storage this space seems tiny. So more the storage space better the service will be and more useful to the customer; or the storage option should be made optional and users who want more should be provided with the facility of more storage immediately and this creates flexibility and trust among the customers which will lead to strengthening of the service.
The expectations are pretty much high and although meeting every anticipation is impossible, Apple can try to take a collective feedback and can improve the service from time to time bringing it to effect immediately, so that the customers can feel the power of technology then and there, without having to wait for days or even months for the updates to arrive. If this is done successfully there is no reason why iCloud shouldn’t emerge as the best Tech-savvy service around the globe.
