With the windows introducing windows phone 7 in the market, it has just made me feel like I should never die and see how the competition gets more interesting. Windows phone 7 has powered the HTC titan to queue it up in the HTC Smartphone group. This phone has really been marketed as one of the revolutionary handset, featuring ultimately impressive hardware coupled with a 4.7 inch s-LCD touch screen.
This phone has a very stylish look with large screen and the body has a dimension of 131.5×70.7×9.9 mm with a light weight of 160gm. the phone can operate on both 2G and 3G network on the bandwidth of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 900 /2100 respectively.
The HTC Titan runs with Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Mango Operating System which has steered the market because lastly, Samsung galaxy 2 used androids gingerbread and that on comparison with the Mango, seems Mango will comprise better functionality and innovations rather than samsung dealing with the multitasking and an easier to use touch keyboard.
The HTC titan has a very powerful 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU and a Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset with 512 MB RAM Memory. The 16 GB internal memory will do as the phone has no option of expanding memory.
Now let us see how the phone looks like when it is on hand:
The HTC titan has 4.7 inch large s-LCD touch screen which is having 16M colors and 480×800 pixels. There are other remarkable display features like accelerometer sensors for the users to help auto rotate, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn off, and lastly not the least gyroscope sensor.
This windows phone comes with the 8 Mega Pixel cameras that can record High Definition videos and shoots high quality photos. The 8 Mega Pixel cameras have 3264×2448 pixels resolution and a video capture at 1280×720 pixel resolution. The camera comes with autofocus, LED flash and Geo-tagging.
The device offers 1.3 MP cameras for video calls which are located at front side. On the music section HTC titan is able to play MP4, MP3 and other format files. And the Stereo FM radio with RDS which will seriously completely entertain users. Like normal smartphones the phone has Loudspeaker, 3.5 mm jack connecter, Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement and WAV ringtones.
The most important section of the mobile phone which is connectivity is, the phone is equipped with many connectivity features such as supports 3G (HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps), 2G (GPRS, EDGE), and Wi-Fi, v2.1 Bluetooth with A2DPa and microUSB v2.0.
Phone is also a packet with lots of social apps such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Picassa, Youtube etc which connect users with society, country and the world by receiving and sharing latest updates.
Phone will have Li-Ion 1600 MAH standard battery which will give talk time up to 11 hours 50 min for 2G networks and up to 6 hours 50 min for 3G network.
The price of this phone has not yet been set and will be available on October 2011 after release of device. Till then let us wait and assume that it will bring more surprises.
