Motorola Droid Bionic

After long time of waiting, the time has come when we could have the 4G LTE android phone on our hands. Motorola droid bionic for Verizon wireless has introduced a high-end Smartphone that anybody will actually want. From CES trade, we actually new about this phone in January only but due to certain problems Verizon asked the Motorola to go back to the drawing room, delay it and redesign it.
This phone is very different from the previous design of Motorola. The delay reasons are not yet revealed but it is quite obvious. As the expectation is high, we can assume that the Motorola droid bionic is going to take 4G to different level. Recently the community of CyanogenMod provided its own CM7 for booting the Motorola droid Bionic successfully. The engineers and developers of Motorola group have showed great interest and efforts in bringing the Bionic.

Features:

The Motorola droid bionic is the first 4G LTE connectivity high-end Smartphone from the Verizon. The phone is very fast due to its dual-core processor and a dual-core chip of 1 GHz along with Android 2.3 gingerbread powered 1GB of DDR2 RAM. This means that the phone can support video callings over 4G, 3G as well as Wi-Fi in googletalk. The Droid provides apps like Zumocast that can help access files, documents wirelessly from the computer using 4G or 3G.

The Bionic has a supersized 4.3inch, qHD (540×960) display and 1080p HD video capture. Motorola has used the same pentile layout as it had in its Droid 3, Droid X2 and Photon 4G.The screen looks less sharp due to its noticeable pixels than traditional layout but it is not an issue.
The design of Bionic is very appealing. The edgy and softy touch will win the heart. The Quality of gorilla glass on dual layer gives glassy touchscreen feeling. The display thus cannot be differentiated with the edge.

Performance:

Had Motorola used NVIDIA Tegra 2 the situation might have been different but using TI OMAP processor with dual core and 1GB RAM makes the Smartphone no slump. This phone is the Verizon’s first 4G LTE Smartphone with Android 2.3.4 gingerbread. Motorola has used its own custom interface which offers great effect and 3D flourishes when swiping from one home screens to different.

External features:

There are three microphones out of which two works as noise canceller on phone calls and external speakerphone is loud enough which would be called sufficient to hear. Motorola has equipped 1735mAh, the largest battery ever seen in an LTE phone which we can expect it to allow almost 11 hours of talking or we can say 8 hours of standby.
On the back side, there is an 8Mp camera that supports 1080p HD video capture an LED flash and a speaker.

Verdict:

After lots of short comings in previous phone and yes with this phone also when Motorola had to go back to the drawing board and redesign it, at last we can be sure that with supersized 4.3 inch display and 1080p HD video capture, this phone is what we had ever wanted.

The phone is really capable of satisfying the customers and i am eagerly waiting to have it.
