Sony Ericsson is drifting apart , as we all know. Its not just the company(s) its their models too.. Sony Ericsson has started to move out the Xperia experience. It all started with the releasing of a walkman clone of the Xperia X8 , the W8. It has now moved on to releasing an handful of phones without the Xperia logo. Namely, Sony Ericsson’s txt, txt pro, Mix Walkman,Active and the Live with Pro. The Sony Ericsson Live with Pro is the latest non-xperia announcement and its seems to be an interesting package on the whole. As of now let us loof at the pros and cons based on specs and features.

As you can see the Walkman is back, with great importance given to audio fidelity for the audiophiles who miss the true Walkman. I personally have missed the awesome walkman button.Adding that to the smart phones is a sure plus indeed. Now moving on
Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman – Cons
- No custom equalizer setting – Being a walkman, this is unacceptable
- Screen contrast and viewing angles are not up to the mark
- Smart dialing is still missing
- DivX/XviD video support out of the box could have been made available
- Non hot-swappable memory card
- No video calls support
There aren’t many cons one sees on the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, but the absence of an equalizer is a disappointment. But apart from that it is good to know that Sony Ericsson is prepared to go beyond Xperia and explore further needs. The orange white combo are now back to the streets in a smarter package with Android. Will you grab one?
