The Dell Company has always been ahead of all in the market of computing device. Since from the date of its entry in Mobile industry, the Company has always tried to create smart, innovative and something we can say different kind of devices.
Dell launched two mobile phones Dell venue which runs on Android 2.2 and Dell venue pro which runs on Windows Phone 7. The phones are available in India at the price of 29000 and 35000 respectively. Dell venue pro is heavy, sleek and bulky. The Phone is very heavy and weighs 180 gm. The Phone looks very smart and expensive. Dell has no doubt paid great attention on build quality.
The phone lacks key features of Windows Phone7 but it is very fast and smooth runner. Look wise, its curved glass display is very impressive.
Dell venue pro is no different from other window Phone7 device. The Phone has a configuration of 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; 512MB RAM which can be updated to 256MB. It comes in both 8GB and 16GB storage memory without including the memory on microSD slot. Other features are it has Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, HSDPA/HSUPA and FM Radio.
The screen is Amoled screen running with WVGA 800×480 resolutions. With Amoled screen do not mistake it with Samsung’s Super Amoled Screen. But I am sorry that this phones screen is not as contrast as that of Samsung’s Screen. But you will surely enjoy the display.
The Phone has 5 MP cameras with autofocus function and flash that can record video at 720p Resolution. But I did not find the camera impressive because after 6pm if u take pictures the image comes blurred. The battery equipped in this phone is 1400mAh.
Even though the phone has super high build quality. But some things in the phone could have been better. Some more works were needed towards improving the camera quality; searching contacts and little problem are there on keypads. The keypads buttons are very small. On sending messages there is no draft option, so for users it just creates problem. Rest are alright and there is hands on for it from my side.
