Obtaining the professional level of certification from HP requires an IT professional to earn the HP Accredited Technical Professional (ATP) level of certification. In order to earn this level of certification, candidates must prove that they have the knowledge needed for HP SMB and mid-market solutions. Candidates must understand concepts related to the design and architecture of HP solutions. Installing and configuring HP equipment and software are additional skills that anyone hoping to earn the HP ATP level of certification must possess. Candidates can earn an HP ATP level of certification in multiple certification paths and specialties.
