Google making Google+ more attractive with enhancements
With search business also being invaded by social networking giant FaceBook, Google, which had earlier failed miserably with its attempt on social networking through Google Buzz, is not content with the stupendous success of Google+. It has been working hard with Google+ to take FaceBook head on. Google wants to take advantage of its search engine and Google doc, and is planning to integrate search and Google docs to make Google + richer and closer to what will catapult it ahead of FaceBook.
Google+ fast catching on
If reports coming through Financial Times are any indication, Google has realized that FaceBook is the big boss as far as social networking is concerned and that Google+ needs some improvements to wean loyal fans of FaceBook to it. There is a sense of achievement to have made 40 million users in little time, but Google realizes that this figure is still one tenth of the total membership of FaceBook.
At present there are far too many Google products on the net and Google+ is an attempt by Google to make it a core product integrating most other services offered by Google on the net. In an intelligent move, Google is trying to close some of its services that no longer attract users and have become a financial drag on the company. This is precisely why we are seeing Google Buzz, Fast Flip, and Photovine going away from the net.
Though Google+ is a newborn in comparison to FaceBook having come into existence just over 2 months ago, the manner in which it has been welcomed by even the currant users of faceBook has convinced many experts that it has the potential to beat faceBook one day. With the integration of search, ability to watch You Tube videos, Google maps and Google docs on Google+ makes it much better equipped than FaceBook and compels people to stay with it.
Features hard to beat
With the abilities at the disposal of search engine giant Google, it is not premature to believe that the next breakthrough when search, Google docs and You Tube integration with Google+ is complete, faceBook will certainly face the heat as users get access to necessary features on Google+.
